She Is
by Carmen C.
copyright 01-20-2005
Contest Winner

Age Rating: 10 to 127

Tears in her eyes,
She seems to drift.

Blue now,
Blue to stay.

What is in her eyes?
Nothing, the distant smile,
Come, stay here with us for a while.

A pure substance that slips through your fingers,
She's to pure to be recognized.
She's just another grain of sand, getting blown about to and fro.

She is as rare as a butterfly's kiss.
Something you'd be ashamed to miss.

Her eyes,
Sink into you.
Stares, she does.
The blue of her eyes.

Longing, they cry.

She is the pure drifting along.
The waterfall of tears pouring from the sky.

Bleak at first sight.
Icy Dreams she leaves us with, the rhapsody she sings to us before we sleep.
Her careful footsteps,
Her weak smile.

Oh,
She Is.
She is everything the ocean is.
Undiscovered.
Blue.
Alone.

She is,
She is everything your tears wish to be.
She is just another girl,
With half a smile,
Letting the world walk right by her.
She is the pure,
No one can see,
No one can catch.

She'll slip between your fingers,
She'll become out of grasp.
She is the pure,
Living then and now,
The senshi of blue.

The colors of the stars when they weep.

She Is.
