The Ice Blues

  The Ice Blues

Ice-cream, popcicles and ice-cold drinks,
Chipped ice in snow-cones,
Yellow, blue and pink.

Ice ponds, ice-skates and ice-fishing too,
Pulling fish into my net,
I think I知 turning blue.

Ice on the highways and more in my lane,
I hit the car in front of me,
Now who is there to blame.

Ice-fog at airports and winter ice-storms,
I知 really tired of being cold,
If only I were warm!!!

Ice-crystals in the air and ice in the stream,
Can't take too much more of this,
I think I知 going to scream.

Icicles from rooftops and snow on the ground,
As soon as I can find the cash,
To Florida I知 bound.

David I'm shivering. I thought you liked that Canadian weather.
As I've mentioned, it actually frosted my car windscreen a couple of days last week.
The weather forecast is on at the moment, some parts of the UK will drop to -2deg c. Luckily not my part.
Today was more springlike.
Have fun, Brian

I can relate to this poem! It can get very cold where I live, and everything gets iced over. But we still manage to have fun!

David, your poem sounds really cold to me..lol Makes me glad that I live in the peachy state of Georgia, not too far away from Florida.
