Loveliest day in the middle of winter, you seemed like a summer dream
Showering us with warmth and light, and joyful songs of hope
I could have burst from my body, and flew into the clouds if you permitted
The smell of renewal and change, with the wind gently nudging me foreword
Your skies filled with wonders, from your soft marshmallow imagination
Sweetly you called my name, and I could not resist your invitation
I would spend the rest of my life exploring such a day if I only had such time
I would smell every budding dandelion, and taste the dewdrops on their leaves
Even your night was perfection; I could have fallen upward into the twinkling sky
The moon smiled so brilliantly, surely no heart was untouched by her beauty
I wish everyday I could just run wild, and live life the way it was meant
Seeing beauty in everyone and everything, or maybe just simply seeing
