The Otherside Of Digital
by Walter Jones (Age: 63)
copyright 01-21-2005

Age Rating: 7 to 127

Reverse of what is often found in the photograph lying down
Color lost to age and time in the fermenting brine
Like shadows that dance from wall to page
Each a glimpse of art filled page
What is the color made
Fade from light to dark

City with the glowing light tears for stars in the night
Are you whole or simply someone’s light
A picture true to hue
Dabble now the brush
Taste the pain
Accept the rush

Clean the blade one more time
Reverse negative sublime
Wonder lays results
A courtroom death
Going down
Life is drained

Pictures dances for a few
I think I see you
A fading glimpse
of make believe
Celluloid left seen
Which is real
Which is dream

horizon meets the street
Faded jeans combine
Dress of memory
Loss of mind
Matrix is real
Through life
a trap

Picture is a plot of has and has not
Drips from closed pin hanging
From a line above a sink
Negative tossed away
Picture fades
Light
Dissipates
