The Virgin's Plea

  The Virgin's Plea

Inside I am changing, nothing I can do will stop it.
I want you in ways, I never thought possible,
And for once, I don’t turn away in fear at the thought.
For love or for lust? Does it really matter so much?

I know you want it too; I’ve seen it in your eyes.
Why don’t you just give in, let what will happen, happen?
My virgin body doesn’t bother me, why do you fret so?
I know you don’t want to hurt me, but really I don’t mind.

Just touch me, treat me as you would any other lover.
Take me and all that I am, accept that I am ready.
I will not regret taking you; I won’t give it a second thought.
Your 23, I’m 17, I understand your fear and your anxieties.

But you must finish what you’ve begun; age is meaningless.
Love is ageless, so why shouldn’t we strive to be ageless too?
So please, don’t turn away. Acknowledge that this is not a sin.
Let the passion and the fire rule you, just give in.

Where did you go SamiJo? I want to visit the dark side of poetry and I need a guide. This is a good poem about the comming of age. I know that telling someone to wait is usless, so be careful! What you do now you have to live with for the rest of your life! I miss you! Anthony
