Really Hate You Though
by Delaney Lindley (Age: 18)
copyright 03-05-2005

Age Rating: 10 to 127

These emotions leave me drained
Beyond the point of breaking down
I'm wasting away...
You said there wasn't anything left
Nobody understood me
Feeling so bereft...
It's lonely out here alone
But I can't be what I'm not
No voices in my mind, nor callers on my phone...
Strike the clock away
Time never cared for no one
It doesn't matter today...
Do you really hate your fairy-tale life?
Why you dancing to the radio?
I know I shouldn't be talking,
I really hate you though.

Such frankness, and that's the beauty of poetry! Good expressiveness, you couldn't ask for more in a poem like this. Nice job.

When we strugle with our own mind we loose touch with reality. You can talk to your self without being crazy, but if you answer and can't understand your in trouble! good job! Anthony
