She waits,
Sprawled against a corner wall
She lays in wait for him forever
Waiting for a sign he's on his way
She'll stay here forever
Waiting...
Waiting...
Waiting for an unlikely call
Probably counting tears on the wall
Will he ever phone?
Send an apology
Word on a wing
To fall upon deaf ears
And numb mind
She sits like an addict
Suffering with her nausea
And withdrawl so deep
No one can hope to pull her back
She is dispondent from the world
Unaffected from the demons
That plague her
And oblivious to destruction
But still she's waiting...
Will someone wake her up?
This girl who once kicked waves
All her photos - A celebration of life
Left her wrecked to depict a painting of dispair
A wretch against the wall
Waiting indifferently for death to claim her
Will he ever call?
Will this party ever stop?
For some reason the pain won't stop
Everything's taken hold
She hurts inside- tries to hide
But the devil just won't let go...
She stares vacantly
Wearing skinny lingerie
Maybe she's really waiting for him
Maybe she knows he'll never show
Or maybe she knows she's watching
The movie of her life
And she knows she could never be a part of it.
