Kiss of daughter sleeps
on the right wing.
Song of Mother lives
on the left wing.
Blessing of Father lies
on my lips.
Memories of love bloom
on my cheeks.

How totally lovely...the image of these simple touches of love giving you the strength to hold out your wings, put a smile on your lips and color in your cheeks as your soul flies free is breath taking...thank you for putting that image in my heart.

"Memories of love bloom on my cheeks...." my favorite line from this wonderful poem. In my own case, "memories of love are a river from my eyes and an arrow in my murdered heart", but a bloom on the cheeks would be much better.

Hugs!
vash droog,
Lyle

A wonderful tribute to family.

This is a good poem about our love for our parents. You have done a good job writing this poem. Thanks, Anthony

This is a poem of symbolism, which I am not too good at interpreting. However, it speaks to me of family and the love and strength of family. Without my family around me, I don't know how I would be able to cope with each day.

Great write; keep writing
David Pekrul
