Encourage the Nation

"Though I walk through the valley
of the shadows of death I will fear
no evil for you are with me"
Psalms 23:4

Encourage the nation
Sharon...©

Even as we walk through the valley and the shadows of death,
our God is with us, so don't dispair.
Though life has been lost and famlies are facing the darkest of time,
God sees our pain and he is there.

Let us look up and see his desire for us to come back to his plan for the
world, let us walk in his love.
He is waiting with open arms to comfort his people,
His is looking down from heaven with tears from above.

But know in your heart that if God had his way,
no harm would ever be-fall our eyes nor our ears.
And when we come together in the times of trouble,
and fall on our knees and cry out before him, he hears!

Though these sad things have happened,
lives have been taken and our peace has been turned upside down.
God will make good our depressions and dry all our tears,he will come in the
mist of this tragedy and turn us around.

With power and might God will help us to shine bright
and this too will pass in the end of time.
Just know in your heart, that we are still covered
with the love of the Father divine.

So be encouraged my friends, for the nation is still strong and God is still on
the throne of Grace.
And he promised never to leave us, there are footsteps in the sand,he is
carrying us to the end of this race.

Peace be still, all will soon be well with our souls,
and no more pain will we bare.
Just remember he loves us, he is holding our hands ,
in the time of trouble he will hide us in his care.

**** This poem is written for, and dedicated to all the families who lost loved ones on yesterday in the terror attack around the world****
May the peace of God be ever with you!~

I noticed that one or two people did not comment much or said that they felt that their comment was inadequate, this is not true, it is because your poem strikes such a chord in us that no words seem to be there to write. Your poem speaks strongly of God, how he loves us all and how he is looking down on us. This is true and I bet he is hurting as much as us over this terrible deed.
Although two wrongs do not make a right, I hope that these monsters are caught and punnished in any form as long as the end result is death. I am sure that on judgement day the ever forgiving lord will cleanse our souls and let us all enter heaven, the torrorists can rot in hell for all of eternity.

Eloquent...speaks volumes in wake of this horrific tragedy. Thank you!

Sharon, I pray your lovely words of encouragement and faith will help to uphold the hearts of those who have been so hurt by all this turmoil and terrorism. We, who live in other countries, share your sorrow and send our prayers.
