Where can we go, if we're lost in the air?
What can we find, if there's nothing there?
Who can we talk to if we're surrounded by hate?
When can we walk freely up to that Golden Gate?
The answer, my friend, is not to go high
Nor to go across.
No, the answer, my friend, is buried deep down
Deep down, a key, which can never be lost.
If we're lost, use the key as a compass
If we can't find something, use the key as a guide
If we're surrounded by hate, use the key to unlock someone's heart
If we can't get past the gate, use the key to open the gate apart.
The key gives you wonders, yet it can't be carried,
The key lives inside your heart where it's buried
The key to our lives and to our questions is like a dove
Where the dove soars because the key is love.
