Biscuit Pizza Bake

Perfect for potluck suppers..


1 lb. ground beef
2 cans buttermilk biscuits (12 oz)
1 can (15 oz) pizza sause
1 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can (4oz) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1 pkg. (3-1/2 oz) sliced pepperoni
1 cup (4oz) shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup (4oz) shredded cheddar cheese

In a skillet, cook beef over med. heat until no longer pink. Meanwhile, quarter hte biscuits; place them in a greased shallow 3-qt. baking dish. Top with pizza sauce. Drain beef, sprinkle over the biscuits and sauce. Layer with green pepper, onion, mushrooms, pepperoni and cheeses.

Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 20-30 min. or until the cheese has melted. Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving. Yield 6-8 servings.

Add a green salad and a nice beverage of your choice and you have a terrific meal..

This sounds delicious, Betty Crocker! I will have to give this one a whirl my girls would love it.It also sounds simple which is good. I am usually pressed for time so I need things that are simple that I don't have to think much on.
