In reply to Anthony Lane Stahlhut's poem, "Loss Of Words"
-----------------------------
When words won't come and rhymes are scarce
When writer's block has caged me in
I creep unto her secret chambers
And gently, softly, quiety... let myself in
I tip toe carefully to where she sleeps
And brush the hair away from her face
I kneel discreetly beside her bed
Covered in blankets of satin and lace
"Wake up my pet," I whisper
"I need your help once again.
I've come to rely on your assistance
My writing pal, my inspiration's friend."
I never wear my welcome out
Nor her graciousness abuse
Without me, she'd have no outlet
Mutually reliant, me and my muse

LOVED it! Remind me to read this next writer's block trauma. I seriously wished I thought of it that way. Whenever I have writer's block I listen to music and just look at pictures. But then again, that's me. Nice to read from you again, one of these days I just need to go through your author's page and read all the stuff you've written. Good write.
You really are a natural! The writing flows so nicely and easily. I like the personification of the muse and the impression I got of invoking her help graciously like a gift we have to be patient and willing to accept when the time is right.
You write well and your answer is noted. Thanks for reading and using me for inspiration. I feel so used(us guys love it when they take control), but I still love you! Anthony
