And God said, “Let there be light”.
A very simple statement with so much implication.

Fire, the light-bulb,
Laser-beams and fiber-optics.

Now the Syncrotron,
A man-made light much brighter than the sun.

Our light creations heal bodies and cut steel,
Protect our nation and entertain our citizens.
Help us to communicate with one another,
And keep us warm on winter nights.

“Let there be light”.

We live in a universe created by the pure energy of God,
The light of the Creator; the power of His will.
Those who put their trust in the Almighty become
The “Children of Light”, a title of power and purity.

Pure energy, light, the source of all creation,
And God Said, “Let there be light”.
