Courage for yourself is easy to maintain, trying to help your friends make potentially life and death decisions is when courage doesn't come easily. When things are up in the air, because you're at fault, that's when things start to click. I hope. If you need to be strong for yourself, I've always found it easy. When others start depending on you, that's when things are hard. When a friend asks you questions about life and death, it's beside impossible to function right away. Anyway, this is a great poem. Although I can't relate very much, I still enjoyed it. I'm a fighter and stubborn as a mule, so I'm usually the one who ends up being depended on even though I don't know if I can depend on myself. I hide my pain and indecision, but I don't suggest doing that. It only makes things harder when the most important decisions have to be made. This is another great dark piece, keep writing.

*shakes head and regains hyper activity!* Mustn't stay dark for long! Arigato for entering my contests, and I shall be a good gremlin and not read your books until they're edited! Also, try popping out the keys on your keyboard if they're sticking. If you spilled orange juice, or something else sticky in there it'd make sense. If you use a fork (and make sure they don't fly away and land in your boots so you think you're keyboard is totaled...) to pop 'em out, wash 'em, dry 'em, and wrap damp papertowls around the solid side of a fort and wipe between the keys to get any hair, dust, or dirt out. I did this yesterday, and my keyboard is working great again! Gook in keyboards seems to quagulate and get sticky again when it gets cold, go figure...

I really enjoyed reading this poem. Everyone is alike and different in many ways, but that does not make one person better than the other. Good work, Jane!

You know... we all bleed red, spend green, and put our shoes on one at a time. I learned when I went to college that the little clicks in school don't matter any more. Surprisingly enough, when I entered the professional work force... I found cliques again. Ugh! Well, I don't think they matter and I don't pay attention to them. Everyone thinks I have some kind of weird confidence and they envy me. But it's just that I see everyone as equal...that's all. And I am not afraid of man, for what can man do to me? My eternal life lies with God!

We are all basically the same, it's just the way we handle life that makes us appear different.
Always remember that someone we may think of as a bit dumb maybe a lot smarter than us in some other way.

Embracing ones differences and those of others enables us to grow as people. It is funny how alike we all really are! We all have our own tastes and sometimes something you like may not suit someone else, that doesn't mean you are wrong, just different and thats cool. Like my poem,"Thats Cool" being different is ok! Thanks for your poem I enjoyed the read. Anthony

I was thinking about a girl that moved away to another school like a month ago. She was poplular and pretty and I didn't like her very much. But now that I think about her she wasn't that bad. So I wrote this poem to say sorry.
