Love Crazy

  Love Crazy

She sits alone in strange uneasy solitude,
staring into another world.

Now and then her eyes show recognition
as she sees him walking towards her
through the early morning mist.

She dreams of the embrace; the kiss; the tenderness.

Then her eyes cloud over as she remembers the fight;
the words; the ugliness; the pain.
Her lip trembles for an instant
as a tear runs down her face,
and the blankness returns.

She wonders how it all came to this.
First, she lost her lover,
then she lost her mind.

We don't know sometimes what we have. In our busy lives we make decisions that effect us and sometimes we don't recover! This is a sad tale and I feel for her loss. Thanks, Anthony

What a sad poem.
You can really feel the mixed emotions of this woman as she sits alone on the seat. the visual is great also and compliments your work nicely.
I guess when you really stop and think I guess we have all been a little 'love crazy' in our own lives at one time or another.
Good write.
Tori
