What would it be like to know you
you mysterious soul
that I yearn to learn about
sitting there amongst the shadows
with fire light spilled across your face
strumming your guitar, and humming to yourself

I will love you,
for more days than we will live
for more smiles than our lips will show
laying here in your warm embrace
with my heart in your hands
speaking words of forever
words I believe.

I love you, my love
sitting there in the sunlight
our daughter upon your knee
singing songs with sounds of happiness

I love you farther then my hands can reach
and my eyes will ever see
i love you more
than every grain of sand, laying upon the beach
and every star that lights our night

I will mend you to my side
sweet love
and if there ever is a day
when your steps begin to falter
mine would only grow lonely
in this world of concrete and lavendar

For it has been too many countless nights
of having you within my heart
to ever suddenly be without.

Beautiful imagery in this one.
It's most clear you know how to give your heart to that special someone, which also makes you special.
I'm glad I met you.

Well done Tori, A beautifully thought out emotional piece, striking the near perfect note of love.
Don't ever stop,
Brian
