Pick A Door

Pick a door, any door,
One or two or three,
Behind the door there lies a path,
And things that you must see.

This path could lead you anywhere,
From valleys to a mountain,
Through desert bare where hardships dwell,
Or to a living fountain.

This pathway is not set in stone,
For it will give you choices,
This living path is calling out,
A pathway full of voices.

And as you hear them, choose your fate,
Itís really your decision,
For it will lead where life is good,
Or land you in a 'prison'.

Now each one has a door to choose,
A pathway (will you walk it?)
Be bold and venture on this path,
Donít pick a door and lock it.

Another big thanks to Anthony Lane Stahlhut for helping me give this poem a better flow.

This is so well said; The power in the choices we are able to make! We really do become what we think.

I love this it is very straight to the point and has a humorous tinge to it.
Its a poem i will read to my children.
Thankyou for your inspiration,
Good Work.
