Baby Boy
by Emily Garwood (Age: 21)
copyright 04-14-2005

Age Rating: 1 to 127

Getting ready,
For today is the day,
The mystery will be solved,
So I take my seat and wait.

In comes the doctor,
And on the bed I go,
Lay down and look at the screen,
See my baby moving.

As we move round and round,
There are the feet,
There's the stomach,
And there's the heart.

Beating, and beating,
I smile knowing you're still ok,
You're my baby boy,
Your a boy; I just can't believe it.

Darien-Rafael you shall be,
My little boy to be,
An angel waiting to arrive,
So I'll wait.

I heard it was like getting grounded for 18 years..and in a way, you DO lose some of your freedom. But, I would never change it for the world. I love my two boys! Just remember... they will copy all they see you do. Be careful what example you set and I wish you the best!

And so and new day is about to begin. Your life will never be the same again.

All the best,
David Pekrul

I will never forget the day I heard my unborn childs heart beat it became my favourite sound in the world, it still is and yet it has grown to the sound of laughter filling my halls and spilling out into the garden along with two pairs of little feet.

This is the beginning of the hardest, most difficult, time consuming and wonderful days in your life. You will travle from one sprectrum of the lowest of lows, to a feeling of happiness that can only have come from seeing your children!
You will be so mad at your children that you could swat them upside the head one moment(but you won't), and then, they will say,"I love you, Mom and Dad." All is forgiven. Good luck on your ride, I hope its all downhill. Anthony
