I'm too young to understand,
Too oblivious to this world.
Too small to realize,
What it takes to call it "love".
Too empty to smile,
I'm just too young.
I'm tired of being told so,
Tired of feeling dumb.
I know how it feels,
To be so close to someone.
I know how it feels,
To cry, to be alone.
I know how it feels to be hated, unloved.
It hurts...
But they insist I am too young to know,
How it really feels,
For someone like them,
To be hurt.
But I'm human,
I cry.
I bleed,
I scream.
I'm not too young to feel.
