  Who Are You? Pt.2

Days have turned to months
Months into years
I have relentlessly searched the depths of my soul to find the right answers

I remember now

I know why your heart does not beat
I know why your soul screams with so much pain
I know now, why your tears burn hot like fire
I have found the reason as to why your mind does not rest with ease
I know how you figured me out to a tee

I thought only in my dreams it was possible to feel this way
But now I know that life is full of anquish
I could never forgive myself for what has happend between you and I

I never meant those things I ever said to you
I tried and tried
Along with the tears I have cried
To forget all that has happend

I am the reason your heart does not beat
I am the reason your soul screams out
I am the reason your tears burn hot like fire
I am the reason your mind can not rest with ease

I wish with all I am that I could turn back the hands of time
Pretend like everything will be alright
I know your name
But I shant not speak it
For if I did
I would come apart from the seams

Here again
Is the man of my dreams

To feel the truth screaming inside of you, but to be unable to act on it. How it must hurt.

Great job, Chelsea.

Such pain from one so young.
Those two words spring to mind. "If only".
If only we we used our hearts BEFORE we uttered the words.
If only we examined the words before letting them loose.
If only.
Nice piece, Brian.
