The entangled limbs of love's first flight.
by Tori Lang
copyright 04-18-2005

Age Rating: 16 to 127

In my heart there is your name
written in my best hand writing
the eight letters which create it
standing in all their pride
amongst the sweetest thoughts and bitter sweet memories I have of you
That night, the one in which you walked into my life
leaving me unable to find my feet
How as time passed just seeing you would awaken the thousands of butterflies in my stomach
sending them into flight
The way your scent would linger on my clothes and in my hair for hours
and how I could still taste you on my lips
long after our last kiss
We would meet every afternoon
and with entangled limbs lose ourselves in passionate embraces, falling in love before we were aware
Ignorant to the fact that our love so full of passion
had come to the end of its road, before its brillant
journey had begun.
Our backgrounds painted in different colours
Our bibles and responsibilities written in different text
erased what could of been
Though heartbroken we smiled our faces tear stained
on that day you went away
You looked at me the way you always had
and held me like you would never let me go

In my heart you still remain
my first love
it has been so many days since my eyes
have graced your face
and I'm left to wonder if they ever will again
in a crowded market place, beside a calm ocean?
in case they don't in this lifetime I will always remember

Us
You
Our modernized version of Shakespeares word
to carry in our hearts forever and a day.

Nice. So far, so good in my mind. I can't wait to read the whole thing. I love the emotion you put in it. Great job!
