Love Lost
by Brian Dickenson (Age: 73)
copyright 04-26-2005

Age Rating: 7 to 127

Like waves surging
Over a lonely beach,
Two desolate people
Strive to reach,
For a happiness
They once knew,
When they were in love
And the sky was blue.

But within them now
The skies are grey,
As they each demand
That the other pay,
For all that went wrong
With the dreams they'd planned,
That were washed away,
Like castles of sand.

Aww this is so sad, it almost made me cry.

Short, to the point, and sobering. I know my wife and I will never end up like that, and I pray that my kid's won't either.
A poem worth reading over and over and pondering.

This is a wonderful poem. Well crafted and flows like water from the tongue. This is true of many broken relationships, both personal and Business! Thanks, Anthony
