If I could write a poem, to you I’d dedicate it,
Set it to music and have a philharmonic play it.
If I could paint your portrait. I'd use colors from a rainbow
Hang it in a fine museum next to Michelangelo.
If I could sculpt in marble, capture my fascination,
Crowds would stand and stare at you in awe-struck admiration.
If I could only prove my love by doing some wondrous thing,
But all you ever asked of me was simply to wear your ring.
