She’s like the Mona Lisa,
But more like Aphrodite,
And she could be a model,
But they are much too flighty.
She works from nine to five each day,
And comes home tired and beat,
Then goes out on the town at night,
I dance her off her feet.
She could have had most anyone,
But ended up with me,
She said she fell headlong in love,
Whatever did she see?
A woman of distinction,
A lady of desire,
I love to look into her eyes,
Of that I’ll never tire.
Yet she can be a tom-boy,
Get dirty with the best,
And sometimes she’s annoying,
And sometimes she’s a pest.
But she is quite a lady,
While others are so ‘plastic’,
I’ll love that lady ‘til I die,
She really is a classic.
