The English translation is the second stanza.
Soy un poema
Mi vida es la obra
De mi Dios amoroso
Y aunque seré perfecta,
Ahora no soy todavía completa
Todas de mis lineas no estan escritas
Pero las sabe bien mi Dios
Y mi fe vive en los espacios
Cuando usted me vea
Quiero que usted vea a el
Porque soy solamente el poema
Creado para la gloria de Dios
I am a poem
My life is the work
Of my loving God
And although I will be perfect
Now I am not yet complete
All of my lines are not written
But they are well known to God
And my faith lives in the spaces
When you see me
I want you to see him
Because I am only the poem
Created for the glory of God

I like very much the metaphor of you being a poem.
I see you portraying yourself as a poem, being a servant of God, and Good, you, and the ppoem as being one creation for God.
Many thanks to Roger Crique for helping me fix some errors in the Spanish language version of this work; I'm not a native speaker, and that shows up in things like this.
Um, I hope no one thinks this is meant to express some view of pantheism or something. Just as a poem isn't necessarily an incarnation of the poet, or a sculpture an incarnation of the sculptor, neither do I believe that I am an incarnation of God or in anyway divine.
Beautiful concept. I like the line about faith in the spaces; how it has to be everywhere; how, also, it is not at all blasphemous to realize we are all in a sense an incarnation of God, Christ, for some, being the prime example.
this is great. I am just in the first year of spanish but i can still translate almost all of it so finally i get to use what i have learned.
great write!
This is very nice and any tribute to God,would be words well used. Your faith is strong and I can only hope that mine will be adequate when I am called to be in God's presence.(if that is the direction I go!) Thanks, Anthony
Wow....I generally stay away from commenting on religious based poems as I never know quite what to say about them....But your poem was so graceful and so very touching in its loving simplicity that I am sitting here now with tears pricking at the back of my eyes. This is simply one of the most beautiful poems about faith and the love of God I have ever read....struck me right to the heart you did!
