What's In A Breath?
by David Pekrul
copyright 05-10-2005

Age Rating: 10 to 127

What's in a breath?
Dreams, passions, our lives,
hopes and desires,
good things and bad.

Each breath we take sparks new beginnings
in a life full of potential
but without knowing the outcome.

To be truly alive, we take each breath
not knowing what tomorrow will bring,
but believing that it will be better than yesterday.

Every new breath is a moment in time and a time for stepping along the path or lying beside It. The choice is ours. Personally, I love to breathe.

Technically sound, but I felt a bit cheated. I thought there could have been a little more to it.

Good write though,

Rich

Life is measured between breaths, the first you take and the last you give. The breath of life is as complex and as simple as...well, as breathing...Your poem made me stop a moment, just to reflect.

A whole world in a breath. That's what meditation is about. Living in the present!. Nice job
