Tear drops pour to the ground like thunder
In lightning clashes do I wonder...

How long do I have to wait to feel?
How long will it take for me to heal?
When will I regain my departed soul?
When will I become whole?

I'm sitting here all alone in the dark
Keeping myself isolated and from the world apart
My friends only see a tougher shell
But deep inside I've cried a well...

Do I have to sit here and wait for an eternity?
If I do, then I'll wait for the passing of humanity
I'll sing myself to sleep at night
And keep in mind what I've done is right...

That's become so heavy it's tear drops of rain
I'll see your smile, take in a deep breath
I've returned to my friends
I've returned to what I've left...
