song.
by Tori Lang
copyright 05-12-2005

Age Rating: 10 to 127

It was many years ago that I remember
meeting her for the first time
she arrived dressed so beautifully
making my whole world stop
as I heard her dancing through the house
from the tips of my mother's fingers
placed with such elegance
upon the cool ivory keys
spilling through the open windows
and into the garden
before fleeing barefoot down the road
awakening the smiles of the children in the street
The way I could feel the verse
as it ran through my veins
urging my limbs to move in rhythm
wanting me to dance, upon my toes
As I soon realised that I had a newfound passion
That of Song.

Passion is found in many forms,
often by the loving of touch of a cared one.

Wonderful work, Tori

This reminds me of what it was like when I met 'Poetry'. Well written.

Beautiful.

Jack is right about the ending, but the rest is very poetic. I like this a lot and just rewriting the second to last line would make this great. Thanks, Anthony

I will read this again, the ending is worded a little wierd to me.
