My Little Cottage

I miss my little cottage,
Where I used to live with joy,
Read wearily, and make noise.
I would dance around,
humming to myself.
And now I remember
The time that I was free
and my little cottage protected me.
Although I now have TV.
Although I have many friends here.
Although I have new clothes and shoes.
Although I have many activities to do.
Although I am a little happy.
I miss my little cottage
And the time that I was free.

My Little Cottage.
I am assuming your writing about a child's play house. If so, such a thing does allow a person freedom to do what they will, and children love playing house. Now that you are all grown up in the second half of the poem, may you enjoy life still while your little cottage is a good memory.
