Chocolate Crusted Banana Cream Pie

Yield: Serves 6

Ingredients:

Ripe Bananas, mashed ¾ cup
Cream cheese, room temp 1/1/2(8ounce)
Sour cream, thick ¼ cup
Vanilla extract 1tsp
Almonds 2 tbsp
Dough crust can be bought at shop rite

Procedure:

1) In a double boiler or a stainless steel bowl on top of a pot half filled with water melt the chocolate chips.

2) When melted add 2tbsp of almonds and mix off the heat.

3) Pour this mixture and press to form a layer around the dough crust.

4) With an electric mixer beat the mashed bananas w/ the cream cheese in a bowl.

5) With a rubber spatula fold in the sour cream and vanilla extract.

6) Spread this mixture on to the chocolate almond crust.

7) Store in the fridge overnight and serve immediately.

*I promise that if you make it right, it would be one of best pies you have ever tasted. I give you my word as a culinary arts student.

It happens that it's not very sweet so elders like it as much as teens. It's best to eat this recipe at spring or summer time

(Look for Sun-dried tomato Pesto Great for topping or dipping)

mmmmmmm.... Sounds great!
I'm an aspiring chef so I've started to look at some recipes!

Only problem is, I've never made a pie!
