Reading this one, I have a clear vision of the stars("twinkling eyes")looking down and watching children chase after their tiny impersonators. I realize that it can be read differently, but this vision is the one that filled my mind and stayed. As usual, you do wonders with this form. ("Bittersweet" is still my favourite though)
