Tomorrow
by Brian Dickenson (Age: 73)
copyright 06-04-2005

Age Rating: 16 to 127

What if there's no tomorrow.
Why should there be? Tell me that.
Would there be so much sorrow?
Would our Gods turn us all down flat?

We're told there's a God to protect us.
If that's true, why should we care?
If the button is pressed and we're all gone,
Just so much dust in the air.

What if there were no tomorrow? Perhaps there would be no pain. What is tomorrow? We live from moment to moment and as soon as we are aware of the moment-it has passed us by. Tomorrow is an illusion. My intuition makes me feel as though there will always be a tomorrow- somewhere in infinite time and space.

There you go again-provoking my mind with your knack for communication.

Thanks for this,

Rich

What? Why? Where? These questions will be asked for all time. Faith is the responsibility of the faithful and the prise that eludes the unfaithful. Faith in God gives us power over evil and dis pare. Without faith in something greater or someplace like Heaven, we would only have this short life. That seems like a waist to me. Good write, Anthony

Many people worry about the future. As a Christian, I know Who I have put my faith in there is no need to worry.
Your poem is short, but says everthing.
