If we don't pay attention
We can stub our toes,
And be surprised how our garden grows.
If we don't pay attention-
Our kids will be grown,
And we'll be left to grow old all alone.
If we don't pay attention-
Forests can disappear,
And so will the birds and the fish and the deer.
If we don't pay attention-
The oceans will rise,
As the sun beats down from ozone free skies.
If we don't pay attention-
To our world all around,
Someone will come and knock it down.
So please pay attention-
To the things you hold dear,
Slow down and appreciate your life without fear.
