~*True Sadness*~
by Jenna T. (Age: 15)
copyright 06-12-2005

Age Rating: 10 to 127

This sad feeling inside of me
brings more tears to my eyes,
This feeling is bringing me down
after hours of endless cries...

I can't control this pain,
This sadness; taking over me...
Now there is nothing left
to spare me from insanity.

O, thou shall never feel
the true sadness I have felt!
Nor the cries of angst that i have screeched
Or the pain with which I've dealt.

If I could turn back time
before all this misery,
I would go back to find
who I am supposed to be.

I am but misunderstood
In a world of true sadness and pain,
But I shall be waiting in the dark
For the light of good to come again.

Hide in the shadows and the world will never know what a great writer they're missing out on.
This poem is so sad, but with a tinge of hope at the end.
Keep up the good work!

This reads well and the story is compelling. I like it! Hope is always a good thing. I hope they don't keep you in the dark too long! Thanks, Anthony
