Anyone love 80's music? List your top 8 favorite songs from the 1980's! by Paul Kangas

Okay, I love the 1980's! I think it was like one of the best decades ever, and what I love even more- was the hot rockin pop ballad music! It was so unique and cool. Anyway, my top 8 favorite songs from the 80's are-

8. "Take my breath away" by Berlin- One of the best romantic songs from the 80's. I loved it!

7. "Straight up" by Paula Abdul- Yes, I'll admit I like Paula Abdul. She came out with some really good #1 songs in the late 80's

6. "Greatest love of all" by Whitney Houston- One of her first and best songs.

5. "Love is a battlefield" by this band from 1983, I can't think of their name.

4. "If you leave, don't leave now" by this band. Grrrrr, I can't recall their name! But it was like the theme song for Sixteen Candles and was played in that movie in the dramatic conclusion at the prom!

3. "Love will lead you back" by Taylor Dayne- This was, I think, one of Taylor Dayne's only hits, but I loved it and hey, it went to #1 in 1990!

2. "Like a prayer" by Madonna- A lot of people were shocked by the video of this song. It was, to me, truly amazing.

1. "Total eclipse of the heart" by Bonnie Tyler- OMG! I love this song! This is without a doubt one of the best songs ever! Seriously, it gives me chills everytime I listen to it! It even made my friend Kim cry. It is so touching and is still a popular song today!
