Suddenly
by Jenna T. (Age: 15)
copyright 06-23-2005

Age Rating: 10 to 127

  Suddenly

It seemed like times would never change
And you'd always be with me...
Forever; it would always be the same.
But suddenly, you were gone from me
and my wall that held me up began to crumble.
It's as if it were just yesterday
When everything was new to us,
and all we had was each other to lean on.
But suddenly, the world stopped turning
and we all broke apart...
Suddenly...I'm falling to pieces
I can't find my way
All I think about is you!
Suddenly I'm always crying
for you, and it hurts so bad...
It all happened so suddenly
And now I'm left here
In the dark.

For my friends A.P., S.D., A.V. XOXOXO

This was really sad. It always hurts when people we love go away. The poem was very clear and the picture you chose really illustrates how you feel. I hope you feel better soon.

Sometimes, the pain feels like it never ends. So suddenly we're thrust into the hurting, that we never realize the gradual rise back into joy.

It may take a while...but soon...you'll find yourself smiling...and while the pain will always be there....it will never be this strong...at least for that wound.

Wonderful work, Jenna. Sad, but beautiful
