Four Months Clean (GO ME!!!)
by Debra Rose (Age: 21)
copyright 06-24-2005

Age Rating: 16 to 127

As of today, June 24, 2005, I, Debra Rose, have been completely drug free for four months.

I was previously addicted to Methamphetamine starting around May of 2004. I quit totally on January 23, and relapsed approximately February 23/24, or somewhere in there, so I dubbed it the 24. I am very proud to say that this marks my four months of sobriety. I know that it may not seem like something big to most of you, and that me having done it to begin with might make your opinion lower of me, but in all honesty, this to me has to be my greatest accomplishment.

So yah....GO ME!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SOBER!

(Oh...and I have also not smoked since then either...I mean ciggarettes. So....WOOOOOO FOR ME!!!!)

Words dance better, when we remember why we write, food taste better when eat because we are hungry, life is fuller when there is more than the next hit, keep, keeping, and write. Walt

Congratulations! Fighting an addiction is one of the hardest things someone can do, and the fact that you are able to do it proves you have a strong will. I smoke cigarrettes and have tried to quit for years and years and have never been successful. Be proud! You deserve it.
