Meant to be

Meant to be

This time just wasn’t meant to be.
This time was just a test
A test of our resolve and love
To find for us whats best

Best for us as who we are
For life is one long road
Best for us we still have time
So we can lighten our load

We have such friends and family
To help put this in the past
We can make our future full of love
And make our family last

Last until the end of time
Time that wont surpass
Surpass the time of our new life
Where we can green our grass

For we are strong, our strength is love
A love that time cant break
No matter what experiences
None ever a mistake

So try and try and try again
Until we get it right
Not struggle but perfect it
It isn’t such a fight

And when its really meant to be
Know this yes we will
For everything will fall in place
Like time has just stood still

A good poem of looking forward and hope. Well-written. The only thing I notice is that you have not put an apostrophe in the contractions (ie: whats should be what's)
