  Satan The Devil

(This song begins with a trumpet, playing the military taps)

He comes from hell,
out of the mist.
Deep from the dungeon,
where no one exists.
They say he is crazy,
but don't you despair.
For the Villain has vanished,
and we're standing here!

( Chorus )
Satan the devil----------------
is no one to trust
for he dwells out of evil---------
and strives out of lust.

Satan lives in the desire
of people who care.
When ever you are weakest
Satan is there.
So look out for the quicksand,
and don't start to sink.
For Satan will get you
if you don't stop to think.

( Chorus )
Satan the devil-----------
is no one to trust
for he dwells out of evil-------
and strives out of lust.

He attacks the weak
preys on our mind.
You search for happiness
he will not let you find.
He's cold and unfeeling
Satan don't care.
Tear out your heart
and leave you lying there.

( Chorus )
Satan the devil---------
is no one to trust
for he dwells out of evil--------
and strives out of lust.

He comes from hell,
out of the mist.
Deep from the dungeon,
where no one exists.
They say he is crazy,
but don't you despair,
for the Villain has vanished
and we're standing here!

( Chorus )
Satan the devil-----------
is no one to trust
for he dwells out of evil-------
and strives out of lust

He lives in the desire
of people who care.
Whenever you are weakest.
Satan will be there.
so look out for the quicksand
and don't start to sink.
Satan will get you
if you don't stop and think!

( Chorus )
Satan the devil------
is no one to trust.
for He dwells out of evil--------
and strives out of lust.
Satan the devil--------

( song ends with the trumpet playing taps )

Mucho love!!!
I haven't found almost any songs here on PnP and I was somewhat disappointed,
because I love writing songs and poems and I've just started writing songs.
This is...Magnificent!
I enjoyed it very much!
It flows great!
I especially love the topic,
I would think it would be hard to write a song about Satan.
I loved the whole thing!
Nothing I would change, it's great!
Just a fellow writer,

I wish I could hear the tune to this.
It's truly a wonderful piece of work.
I don't believe in the devil, but if I did I assure you I would be disturbed.
Keep up the good work.

An intriguing song Anthony. I makes me wonder again, why should there be a devil.

I could hear this playing in my head as a chant. With only the beat of a snare drum accompaniment.
But then we all hear our different tunes.
Nicely done my friend.
Brian.

Interesting and different. I'm wondering what kind of music to set this to!
(You misspelled 'weak' in one of the earlier stanzas).

Interesting song; I can imagine what the background music must be like. Certainly paints a picture of Satan's destructive manner, not to be trusted, negative, no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

A small critque: (here he goes again!)
You mention Satan throughout the piece as "It". I don't know if that is how you intended this to be, but I would think of him as being "He".

A few spelling errors: (Okay, Dave, get off your high-horse)
Should not the word Villon be 'Villain"?
"prays (should be 'preys') on our mind"

That's all. Love the song.

week
I think that should be weak

This is an awesome song, and I wish I could hear it performed! But maybe this is the exact reason why Satan is one of the only (human like) things we can trust... (other than God, of course ^.~)....you can trust Satan to never be someone to trust, and to never carry through on his word, therefor making him the most reliable of villians.

In a way.

lol, anyways.

Wonderful work
