dry humor gets a smirk
and take her some place that is green!

Entered a contest about Heather's Feathers,
I heard that she really liked sweaters,
Got together with Jean
And yarn that was green
knitted one with some cool letters!

Heather had conversation with a bird,
though it did not say a word.
She asked it to let her
get a new feather
Flew away thinking she was absurd

I liked the last verse the best, laughed out loud at that one, and then had to try to explain the whole Heather thing to the family...Anthony, I think you are now at the stage of needing professional help with the limerick addiction...See Jim, he's a doctor.(I am still smiling)... I am collecting all the heather limericks as proof that I didn't imagine the whole thing...
