A Life So Precious
by Jennifer Simpliciano (Age: 19)
copyright 07-06-2005

Age Rating: 7 to 127

How can you take away
A life so precious?
How can you inflict so much pain
On a life so innocent?

Don't you see?
It's life!
Open your eyes!
No. No...
Open your heart.

How can you be there
There in that morbid clinic?
It holds life as nothing!
Nothing at all!

Feel it!
Feel it living!
Feel it thriving!
A life so precious.

How can you let them do that?
Tear this life apart
Limb by limb
Soul by soul.

A life so precious
With hair of gold
Its hands grasp for the world unknown.
A world with a miracle
The miracle of feet
It would have taken it places
distant and exotic.

Cold hearted, merciless act of evil!
Murder!
Murder it is!
Murder it will always be.

Save this life.
Protect this life with yours
A life so precious.

There was a post on my debate forum about abortion. I still had things to say.

GORGEOUS!
perfectly astounding... you encapsulated it to well, undercut with such swelling emotion. you took your passion and crafted it into a beautiful message one that more people so desperately need to hear.
