Jean was a pretty sister of Heather’s
And she had another named Feathers
But Heather missed her
Especially “fowl” sister
So in her honor wore those three feathers
She would have liked a bit more of the “down”
To wear and cover while roving ‘bout town
But stores were all out
Though Heather did pout
‘Twas naught left to make fan, sweater, or gown
Determined to honor Feathers her sister
She donned them in front of Mrs. & Mr.
Until one young lad
One too many he’d had
Grabbed, molested, and then he kissed her
Unnerved by his actions so lustful
She decided to hide what was bust-full
Scraps of wee leather
Scant held together
Attempted to hide her from men mistrustful
But she was soon working overtime
To earn a dollar, a nickel, and a dime
All those long hours
Sweating without showers
In an outfit of leather just wasn’t kind
Unfortunately she broke out in a rash
Then later ran a bit short of cash
Leather became loafers
Sold 2 feathers to chauffeur
Before learning to dance a one-feather flash
But you know flashing’s not really allowed
You can’t show all that skin in a crowd
Heather’s a bit bold
And nips when it’s cold
So Bobbies grabbed her and through the throng plowed
The crowd was eager to see her de-plumed
Offered bail in exchange for eye candy consumed
When she finally got out
Jubilant crowds shout
Because the bare-ly feathered Heather resumed
Till “Hog” wild bike riders kidnapped her
They didn't clothe and hadn't wrapped fur
But David’s rescue worked
Guard’s duty was shirked
Right past them Heather streaked in a blur
Although Anthony dreamed some wild things
And James wrote about Heather urinating
Jean George said it right
Bobbies kept her o’er night
Before Anthony introduced Jean
Jon added neurosis when there was none
After the pillow fight with her cat begun
And just when it got
A little hotter than hot
Jean George put an end to the men’s fun
In Jean’s prolific and talented way
He said what the horn-toads feared he’d say
Heather became wed
And slept in Dan’s bed
Never again to one-feather fan dance for pay
But that’s not the end of her story
For her sisters too flaunt their nude glory
One sister Feather
And Jean together
Leave in aghast all conservative Tory
So although the “Nude One” has retired
This string of poetry’s not mired
There’s so much to say
This or some other day
All because of what David Pekrul’s inspired

Mary, this is a good summary of all the 'Heather's Feathers' adventures. It was a fun ride and I think in some strange way, brought may P-n-P members closer together.
Thanks for this, and for posting a history of the 'Heather's Feathers' series of poems.
