Creationism Meets Evolution: A Theory
by Debra Rose (Age: 21)
copyright 07-12-2005

Age Rating: 10 to 127

Eden has been discovered. Whether all of you know this or not, they have found, according the biblical texts and directions given, where it supposedly was.

Yet, at the same time, the beginning of man has been scientifically traced all the way to Africa, and the migration into all different continents and the evolutionary way each developed has also been traced.

Eden is the middle east.

Man first appeared in Africa.

Two opposing views...or not.

For how did they know where Eden was, and how to describe the way there if they did not travel there to begin with? Perhaps Eden is not in the right place?

(Oh...interesting little fact...we all evolved from dark skinned ancestors. Meaning black. So there really is no such thing as race. I'll give you the video to watch about it, and the authors to read. It's astounding.)

Well...here's my theory on why both evolution and creationism is correct, and why both sides need to shut up :)

God created Adam and Eve (or Adam and Steve, depending on whether or not you believe in theory that the perfect race was combination of both male and female, and they later split off to two seperate races for reproductive means). But this was not just "Wham bam, thank you ma'am, there they are!" No. God wanted things to work in perfect harmony. In a way that no matter what happened, they could adapt and become more perfect, more like him, through their trials and tribulations. He wanted people to keep Him (she/it/they/the grand holy mongoose, whatever) company, but knowledge and supreme wisdom cannot just be given. He wanted them to know what it was like to struggle, hurt, feel love and pain and joy in order to truely comprehend the gift of Godhead this Grand Holy Mongoose (they/it/she/He, whatever) wished to give them. So they had to be able to adapt. Grow stronger, wiser, and overcome the bonds that their own mortality would bring.

They would need to deserve this gift. So he started them at the beginning.

Thus, God created Adam. The single celled ameoba. They soon evolved, striving to move more, do more, and to become better. Before you knew it, skip a few evolutionary chains, (with some of Gods help saying "Come on....why are you so slow?" or whatever) and you have neanderthals and man. One was weeded out (obviously, the neanderthals...at least I believe that's the race of man that never made it) and god was pleased. He saw this species, who had functions so perfect, and an ability to grow, adapt, and think, so differently than the others, and he was happy. He had made them from the very foundation, cultured them like a gardener to a seed, and watched them grow into a rose bush. He also knew that now, without him having to tend them and pamper them, they would be fit to strive for perfection, with his minimal help, in order to complete their tasks to receive his ultimate gift.

God did the same with many things. He knew the way the world worked, and that things would change, and wanted to assure that all things could grow and survive.

So basically...science and evolution does not disprove the idea of God. It proves it. It shows the way which God created us. We're not just massive blobs, but the beauty by which science proves our workings helps to show that in fact something does exist, and the formula which was used to make us

Thought provoking... ot so sure I can follow it completly, but it could have some truth to it.

Then again if God created man at the beginning of the world in Eden, then the plates had not shifted yet and we still had one giant land mass.

I always thought that if we moved these pieces of land back together exactly the way they were it would put the supposed starting place of man right ont he rim of Africa. I may be wrong? Tomorrow someone mught say the bible says the holy grail is burried in my back yard... who knows?

Wondeful work as always. I actually believe pretyy much everthing you have written here. God creating 'Adam and Eve' could be a metaphor for the beginnings of life on earth billions of years ago. (I think they say the first life started on Earth about 2 billion years ago or so-give or take a decade or two)
Of course, life could have started without divine intervention at all. Most evolutionists choose to believe that we started out as just more or less random chemicals, and through much luck, eventually became amino acids(the building blocks of life)- and these amino acids eventually helped to form life itself.
The only thing I don't understand about creationists is that some of them strongly believe that the Earth is only about 6000 years old. Did god leave the dinosaur bones(etc) just to mess with our heads?
But yes, science and religion don't nescessarily have to be polar opposites. (Tell that to the people during the dark ages and see what happens!)
Also, if there was truly only one adam and one eve that started it all-wouldn't that make eveyone related in an icky sort of way...

Hmmm, you should bend a few minds with this piece.
I have to admit that you have shocked me. Drat. :-(
I thought Eden was on Atlantis before it sank.
Shows how rong I can be.
(Yes I know it's not spelled right, shows how wrong I can be).
Are we sure that ALL the Neanderthals died out?

Seriously though, your theory is as good as anyones. We just don't know. What puzzles me is why someone has not come back to tell us.
Keep them coming, Brian.

Interesting, Adam and Steve? Your reaching pretty far there aren't you? Who knows for sure, no one was around so it might have happened just that way. Again Interesting concept, Anthony
