There are those who choose their Heroes,
by the jerseys that they wear.
Or the ones who think a Hero
is on a screen in the theater.
Of course most of the little ones,
put their fathers on the top.
This idea is one to keep,
and I hope it will never stop.
You ask me who is my Hero,
but I can't give you just one.
There are so many that I have,
and for so many things they done.
I saw the Policeman arrest a crook,
was thankful for the comfort he gave.
The fireman run into the building,
after hearing of a child to save!
The teacher whom tries their best,
takes children under their
wing.
The volunteers who do so much,
and never ask for anything.
They all could be called Heroes,
and its true, they certainly could be.
There are even more important people,
who are The Real Heroes to me.
The mother whom takes her child,
and then brings them home from school.
Parents asking, "Where and When?"
instead of just being cool.
The sister or brother who watches out
for others when something is wrong.
The friend who is always there for you,
to help you to keep going on.
The alcoholic who puts down the bottle,
decides there is something better to do.
Debra Rose clean over 133 days,
my favorite Hero is you!
