I thought this could last
by Mika L. (Age: 16)
copyright 07-16-2005

Age Rating: 1 to 127

I was so foolish
to belive every word you said
I felt i belonged
I felt you loved me
but
all the tears that were cried
were all for nothing
all the time I gave up
all for you
has come to waste
and now
my hearts cries
because
I thought the moments would last
when we were together
smiling and laughing

I love how you used a situation that most people feel. It's a little risky in terms of others writing similar things, but that is just because so many people feel the same way. I really like the emotion tieing in and giving it life to another person. I also love the cliffhanger ending.

Those moments do last in memories. Take the good things from your relationships and try to look at it as a learning experience. Your real love will come along one day and you will be better off having loved and lost in the past. The experiences will help you to know what to do to keep your next love. Anthony
