A Second Destiny to Mine

A Second Destiny to Mine lyrics

Verse One:

Your Destiny is mine

Not separate or fine
Full of pain and wounds

But still connected to you

Verse Two:

We share a destiny

We share a hungering

For love, for need, for want of us

We share a common, growing lust

Chorus:

In need, In wanting

In the passion of the night

I could never forget, that you have

A Second Destiny to mine

Verse Three:

Behind the Window pane

That’s where I belong

My Destiny still here

While yours has gone

Too far

Verse 4:

My love is great

Can it pass the grade?

Can it meet the standard?

Of your common girl?

Bridge:

I'm not the bridge over the water

I'm not the sun in the sky

I can't do what they want me to

But I know I can try

Chorus:

In need, In wanting

In the passion of the night

I could never forget, that you have

A Second Destiny to Mine

Verse 5:

Fire, Destiny

Those things I could never have

Passion, Love

So far away from me

You…

The one thing in my world I need

Tonight

Bridge:

I'm not the bridge over the water,

I'm not the sun in the sky

I can't do what they want me to

But I know I can try

Chorus:
In need, In wanting

In the passion of the night

I could never forget, that you have

A Second Destiny to Mine

In the end it doesn’t matter, for you have

A Second Destiny to mine
