I Had Something That I Wanted To Say

I had something that I wanted to say...
Only I couldn’t find the words...
I had something really important to speak on...
Only I could not remember what it was that I wanted to implore on...
I just needed at this moment...right now...to get those words out...
Only the words were nowhere to be found...
I couldn’t get them to flow out of me...
Not like they usually do...
I just wanted to speak out loud on something, anything...
Only the words were locked inside...
Determined not to venture out...
I even went over there and banged loudly on their door...
But for once, the words were silent...
It was then I discovered...
The words I needed were having a moment of silence in remembrance of...
It slowly dawned on me that maybe the words WERE speaking all this time...
And I, in my distress, didn’t hear the strong clarity of those words...
So I too, joined them in thier moment of silence……….
