War
How does it start?
Love or Hate?
Or power hungry?
Some love power
Some fearer it
Why does war exist?
There is always a cause
But is it worth it?
Or a waste of time, money and, life?
How did it come to be?
Why do so many fall to its temptation?
How?
Why?
How do people want death and destruction?
All war can do is kill
And worst of all is I understand how it comes to be.
How it blooms
How and Why
War is a killer that will end us all.
One day
Some day
All will welcome war
And we will be welcomeing
The last chapter
That will be the end of war
When there is no one to way
Our sleep
Our end
Our death

Leigh, Dark poem that explains the human condition...or the condition of all nature. Survival of the fittest(Darwin}, and the food chain come to mind. Unfortunately, all of history is based on war. I don't see anything really changing as we "evolve" as the human race. We are always waiting for the inevitable. Greg
Urgh... I just finished studying Africa for today... very depressing stuff. This poem reminded me on that. There are four civil wars going on in Africa, and the military people starve the civilians as a punishment. >.< It's absolutly disgusting.
Your poem is very well thought out. Good job on it! Very thought triggering, as usual.
This is a very wonderful and touching poem. I like your style. I think maybe you could extend it a little more and be alittle more detailed, but the idea is very good!
I'm with Roger all of theses questions do deserve an answer, I'm sorry to say I don't have it. But did you perhaps mean wiegh not way in the third to last line? Anyway good write, keep up the good work.
Very nice and passionate poem. All questions valid and deserving an answer from those who wage war. In your last paragraph, you have a line that is not clear to me, "When there is no one to way," what did you mean by it?
