My Older Little Sis'
by David Pekrul
copyright 08-14-2005

Age Rating: 10 to 127

I wrote this for my sister's 50th birthday

You’re my own little Sis’,
And I’m here to say,
You’re getting older every day,
Did I say older?,
I meant more mature,
You’re younger than I am, that’s for sure.

You once were a child,
A long time ago,
But time keeps on moving (so I’m told),
And now you are older,
(I mean more mature),
I’d mention the number, but that’s a blur.

Suffice it to say,
I wish you the best,
You’ve faced your challenges; passed your tests,
So here’s to your birthday,
And all the year through,
And may the Lord bless you in all you do.

I wish I had a brother like you. Good job.

Congratulations on having a sister that keeps in touch. I have an older one that I never hear from.
Maybe I'll write her a poem, lol.
Brian.

Looking at your picture, you would never know how sweet you are! This is a wonderful poem for your younger, better looking sister! Thanks, Anthony
