Cats are like friends,
they're there till the end.
They'll melt your troubles away,
if you're in need they'll stay.
When you cry,
to wipe the tears they will try.
Cats are like friends,
they're always there to depend.
Cats are with you,
through thick and thin.
Their motors go when you pet them,
sometimes it sounds like a poem.
Cats are lovable, hugable and adorable,
even if they're stubborn.
Cats are like friends,
your love for them always extends.

I've never heard of a cat named Raven. This one of yours pictured appears to have a stare like a hawk (intense). Animals make the best friends as you can tell them anything and they don't take it personally, they just listen.
My husbands dog is named Screwie Louie because he's nuts (blue heeler) and my precious (red heeler) who is Louie's daughter, her name is Miss Pixie Fine. I think she acts like a princess in comparison to her Dad-Louie. I wish I could Keep a cat or twenty...no dice...our ranch dogs rule.
Still busy reading your poems. Once I hear them all, I plan to move on to your stories, as I really enjoyed that one page about the green door.

Oh. it's perfect. I swear, only if you have a cat can one understand the kitty-keeper bond. But you obviously do, and it shows. The first line sounds like my poem 'Feline Friend', though. But still, great poem! I love it! Can't wait to read more of your works!

I enjoyed this poem and I believe the same things. Some of your rhymes were a little off though. I think if you looked at this one again you might be able to fix it. Sometimes when you take a break from a piece and go back to it you notice things that you didn't before. Great Poem Alma!

Nice poem!! I've always wanted a cat, but my parents won't let me get one. >.<
Some of the rhymes seem a little forced, but it was very good overall!!! (any suggestions in persuading my mom to let me get a pet?)
